The spanner was royally thrown in the ex Top gear trios dreams when the BBC pointed out that their Top Gear styled show to be aired on ITV could be axed due to a clause in the presenters contract that stopped him working for a rivals show until 2017.
However Clarkson has obviously hired a tip top lawyer and found a nice little loophole to get around this and the BBC are frantically working to try and seal up this little hole. It looks like Clarkson, May and Hammond can make the tv show in the USA and then sell the rights to ITV
So this could really help get the Top Gear trio back on our screens soon and will really give Chris evans a run for his money on the rating but what is going to be exciting is that we may have lost Top Gear as we know it but we are likely to now gain two great shows to fill our petrol heads with.
