So you have had your hands on the Bugatti Chiron. Poor you. If you had waited just a little bit longer, you could’ve had the car we’re going to talk about today: the Chiron Divo.
Sadly, we haven’t much to talk about this car since details are still sketchy. What we can tell you, though, is that there will only be 100 to be made.
Flashback to the Geneva Motor Show, the Sport model was revealed. All it had was less weight and more price, just like how a proper boutique super car maker should.
Unsurprisingly, the Divo will even pack less weight and even more price. And more aerodynamics, for that matter.
Also like the Veyron and Chiron, Divo stands for one of Bugatti’s early drivers in the name of Albert Divo.
Now, I don’t know about Bugatti but we think that this Divo chap did not win enough races at the time for Bugatti to make a car after his name like Pierre (Veyron) and Louis (Chiron).
But at least, the Chiron Divo will be the most expensive Bugatti to ever roll off the production floor. It is rumored to have a price tag of – wait for it – 5 million. Makes the 5,221 hp Alieno Arcanum a bit tempting, no?
