The De Macross Epique GT1 is an 845 BHP Supercar
This vehicle is manufactured in Toronto by Canadian manufacturer Multimatic.
The Engine is a 5.4 V8 by Ford creating approximately 725 pound-feet of torque.
0-60 is reached in 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 230 mph.
The Macross is the idea of Supercar collector Keyser Hur who has spent a small fortune to make this project a reality.
Overall design appears to pay homage to the amazing LeMans race cars of the 1960’s and 70’s.
The price tag of $1.5 Million will possibly put a lot of potential purchasers off as this cost places the DeMacross in a market with rival Supercar companies who have history and pedigree – Something the DeMacross lacks.
The power delivery will put a smile on your face but overall the car still requires work visually especially the interior which looks more like the inside of a Schedoni Luggage case with a little too much leather.
Considering that the idea that this Car is a street / track vehicle then the designers should have installed a more race focused interior with perhaps a little more Carbon instead of trimming the whole interior with leather.
Soundwise the DeMacross is very impressive with a typical growl from the engine and aircraft grade exhaust.
Will the DeMacross sell enough to compete with Pagani or Koenigsegg ? perhaps not but to a collector with a large budget this car may appeal on the exclusivity grounds.
